Brent Classen
President & Owner
Brent has spent nearly his entire 30-year career as an administrator at Brentwood. Today, as president, he’s responsible for the entire operation of the company’s Sagamore Hills healthcare campus. A Fellow of the American College of Health Care Administration (AHCA), Brent is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the state of Ohio. He’s also an AHCA Certified Nursing Home Administrator and a Certified Administrator, Sub Acute Care.An alternate board member of the Ohio Health Care Association (OHCA) in 2015, he’s also an OHCA Certified Executive, Assisted Living, and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kent State University.
Brent is as committed to the community as he is to his profession. He’s been a Cleveland Clinic and South Pointe hospital trustee since 2014 and recently served as vice chairman of the zoning commission in his hometown of Bainbridge Township in Geauga County.
Samantha Nero
Director of Nursing
As director of nursing, Samantha Nero, RN, BSN, is responsible for overseeing and managing Brentwood’s nursing staff. She received her STNA certificate in 2012 from Cuyahoga Valley Career Center. She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Ohio University. She received her associate’s degree in nursing and her associate of science degree from Kent State University. Samantha has three years of experience as an STNA on a surgical floor and more than three years of experience as an RN on a med-surgical floor.
At Brentwood, she has worked as a PRN charge nurse, 3rd shift supervisor, admissions nurse/supervisor and assistant director of nursing. Prior to that, she worked at a local Cleveland Clinic hospital. In her free time, she works with the Olde Northfield Preservation Association, giving back to the community.
Bobby Nero
Executive Director
As executive director, Bobby is responsible for operations at the healthcare campus, along with sales and compliance. He joined the Brentwood staff in 2014, having served five years in several positions, including administrator-in-training, with another healthcare provider.
A Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, he holds a degree in health service administration from Ohio University with minors in business and psychology and a specialization in gerontology.
Bobby gives back to the local community by volunteering with the Olde Northfield Preservation Association, which awards college scholarships to seniors at his alma mater, Nordonia High School. He lives not far from Brentwood in Sagamore Hills.
