Ohio Assisted Living Association Honors Robert Nero with Excellence Award

The Reserve at Brentwood proudly announces Honoring Excellence winner Robert Nero. This award is given annually to outstanding employees that demonstrate vision, innovation, leadership, and compassion in their role, by the Ohio Assisted Living Association (OALA), representing over 550 licensed Assisted Living Communities.

Robert won the award as Outstanding Executive Director. Robert represents the values the Ohio Assisted Living Association looks for in Honoring Excellence nominees. Winners of the award are nominated by their community and peers, and selected by a committee of the Ohio Assisted Living Association Board of Trustees. Brentwood owner, Brent Classen, reflects on Nero’s progression in the industry and his achievement. “Bobby’s commitment to his profession, work ethic, and accomplishments started at a young age. As the son of an assisted living executive director, Bobby began working in the industry as a dietary server in high school. After a 10-week internship in 2014, Bobby became Associate Administrator. In 2016 he was promoted to Assistant Administrator. In 2017, he cut the ribbon as the Executive Director for the Reserve at Brentwood. The Reserve at Brentwood reached 100% occupancy in 18 months in a very competitive market. Bobby went from Intern to Executive Director in 5 years.”

Nero’s extensive hands-on industry experience and compassionate care, combined with an educational foundation in health service administration, business, and psychology define what qualifies him for this award of excellence. Congrats Robert Nero.
